Our Mission

Cheshire Interfaith Housing represents our faith communities working together to inform Cheshire residents about housing needs, to advocate for, and to develop decent affordable housing in Cheshire.  The statement of purpose of the group includes:

  • increasing the community's understanding of housing needs and issues.
  • undertaking efforts "to provide decent housing in Cheshire that is affordable primarily to low-income persons."  Moderate income persons are also part of the groups concerns.
  • helping neighbors in need
